Threshold (Target) Wax Melts Reviews - February 2023

This is mostly lemon iced tea, but it also has a fresh, very sweet, slightly watery note in the background, so it's not really "foodie". I really like it. I'm not getting bamboo (a nutty, coconutty scent) or sage (a savory herb with a slight pine note).

A pleasant scent that is indeed a combination of jasmine and coconut, about 50% each note. The jasmine is more of a "natural" jasmine note, rather than perfumey, so while this is primarily a floral scent, it's not super sweet. I like it, although it's a bit on the bland side. I'm not getting amber (a warm perfumey note) or rose (which would be slightly bitter, and this scent is not, although maybe that's why this scent is not all that sweet).

Fantastic, like lemon cereal, and I can actually smell the cereal! Compared with ScentSationals Marshmallow Crispies, that scent is harsher with more lemon, as well as a bit of orange that this scent doesn't have, while this scent has the cereal note as well as a distinct soft vanilla note. I love them both, but I do like this scent a bit more, as the ScentSationals scent is more fake. However, the ScentSationals scent has a bold throw of 5 out of 5. This scent is much more similar to Mainstays Crispy Treats. Comparing them side by side, they both have the cereal note, but this scent has a bit more of that note, as well as more vanilla, while the Mainstays scent has a tiny bit of raspberry.

A super sweet scent of pineapple with some other fruits that make it smell like a Hawaiian Punch or powdered fruit drink mix, in a good way. It's similar to ScentSationals Pineapple Strawberry Smoothie, with some very minor differences that I can't put my finger on.

This is not a woodsy scent as I had hoped. It's more of a men's cologne type scent, but it's not overly sweet or "cologney". I'm getting bergamot, which gives scents a crisp, cologne note, and I'm definitely getting that smidgen of a lemony note in the bergamot. It might have a woodsy note way, way in the background, which could be the cedar. And I think there's a barely detectable smidgen of leather as well, which gives this scent a "dark" vibe and keeps it from being overly sweet. It's a nice scent, but similar to a lot of other warm cologney scents with those same types of notes. It's a ScentSationals Black Tux type of scent (which I no longer have to compare).
