Yankee Candle Kohl's Wax Melt Reviews - Spring 2022

If you're expecting that this scent is similar to Strawberry Lemon Ice, which was strawberry with a zesty lemon note, it's not. It's a very nice scent, but it's just orange with a bit of grapefruit tartness. Looking at the notes, I do smell the yuzu, a citrus fruit that smells like orange and grapefruit with a smidgen of "watery" lemon (like lemon plus aloe vera, although you don't smell either of those notes per se). Disappointingly, I'm not getting any of the other notes at all, including lemon, strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, vanilla, malt, or violet.

A nice slightly soapy scent with coconut, a bit of floral, and a tiny bit of fruit (apple?), along with a smidgen of an herbal note (aloe or cucumber) and possibly a barely detectable smidgen of sandalwood. Looking at the notes, there are the clean soapy notes, the fruit (pear, which is similar to apple), aloe, and wood. I'm not getting any musk or tea notes.

Disappointingly but not unexpectedly, this just smells like peach, as a lot of mango scents tend to do. It's not really a sweet peach either, more tart and even a tiny bit sour with just a little bit of sweetness. It might even have a hint of pineapple in it. I don't care for peach or pineapple scents, but if you do, you might like this! Looking at the notes, I don't smell banana or berries at all, although maybe a smidgen of the orange, but so little that I wouldn't detect it if I didn't know it was there. I wish I smelled the vanilla cream, but this scent has no creamy, sweet, ice cream type notes.

A sweet but not overly sweet scent of mild floral (almost like baby powder without most of the sweetness) with a soapy note, a bit of sweet cherry, hints of vanilla and almond, and possibly a smidgen of sandalwood way in the background. Looking at the notes, I don't smell apple, grapefruit, or rose. I do smell the freesia, which is the mild, slightly soapy floral. I really like this scent, but it was mostly gone within 3 hours or so.

This might be one of the most vile scents I've ever smelled. It smells like a combination of rotten fruit and moldy bread. One or all of these notes must be the culprit: Sake Accord, Rice Wine, or Aged Merlot. Because the rest of the notes sound like this would be a great scent. :-(
