This is a review of ScentSationals Wax Melts from Meijer for Spring/Summer 2019. They are only available at Meijer and perhaps some other stores, but not Walmart.
Apple Crisp
This is the same scent as ScentSationals Warm Apple Pie, a classic scent that really smells like apple pie! It's not a fake or waxy the way a lot of apple pie scents tend to smell. I smell the apple with cinnamon and clove, and a hint of the buttery pie crust. It's such a simple, yet fantastic, scent!
Fireside Embers
I believe this is the same as the old Better Homes & Gardens scent called Warm Crackling Campfire. I no longer have that scent, but I remember it because I didn't like it at all. It is a smoky scent, and I smell a hint of cloves, but there's a very strong sour or Play-Doh note that ruins it. It's not an authentic smoky, fireside, or campfire scent at all.
Soothe your soul with this blend of eucalyptus, spearmint, white pine, Egyptian musk, and smooth sandalwood.
Well, this is a bit confusing! ScentSationals came out with an Inner Zen scent earlier this year (available from Walmart and the ScentSationals website), but this is not that scent. THAT Inner Zen scent is pure spearmint. THIS Inner Zen scent is... ScentSationals Zen (a soft, relaxing spearmint scent with a very slightly soapy and laundry note). The regular Inner Zen that came out earlier this year at Walmart is different from ScentSationals Zen and this Meijer's Inner Zen. Confused yet?
Sea Foam
An inspiring exotic blend of sweet citrus, leafy greens, and soft tropical fruits combined with sugared melon, calming island florals, and a hint of pure woods and sea salted vanilla
This is the same scent as ScentSationals Ocean Tides and AmbiEscents Maui Beach (both from 2018), and AmbiEscents Ocean Waves from Spring 2019. These are all dupes of the old ScentSationals Calypso Sands. It's a fantastic sweet watery scent with honeydew, floral, vanilla, and a hint of coconut, one of my favorite scents!
