Kohl's Sonoma Fall Wax Melt Reviews 2020

This scent returns almost every year: 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019. It's one of my favorites, a strong, super smoky burning leaves scent (but not like mesquite type of smoky, although maybe a little bit of that "embers" type of smokiness) with raw wood, pine, and a hint of cloves. A perfect cozy scent to melt on a chilly Fall or Winter day! Looking at the notes, I don't detect cinnamon.

This scent came out a few years ago. It's a typical apple pie type scent, without as much of the bakery note as others I've smelled, and not as authentic.

I wanted to like this scent because I love the combination of pine and citrus (orange or lemon), but for me it misses the mark a bit. I smell the pine, and also the hint of citrus (which might be grapefruit, or a smidgen of lemon). But the pine is that sour type of pine that's used in a lot of pine scents. It's a sour, vinegary type of scent. I don't notice the cinnamon on cold sniff, but it does come out a little when melted, although it's more of a natural , powdery cinnamon rather than a sweet or red hot type of cinnamon.

It's a super rich, sweet, intense maple scent with cinnamon, ginger, caramel, and maybe a barely detectable smidgen of apple, and possibly a smidgen of rich vanilla buttercream. It's so sweet and rich, it's like the cinnamon equivalent of fresh rich chocolate fudge (in fact, it might actually have a chocolate note). It's kind of similar to ScentSationals Coffee Cake Swirl, but way sweeter and richer. It really doesn't smell like any other cinnamony scent out there. I'm not a fan of cinnamon, but I adore this scent!

This scent came out in the spring or summer, but I never reviewed it. It smells like yellow cake with sweet vanilla buttercream icing, or more specifically, the confetti or sprinkles or jimmies that go on top, that sweet slightly fake confectionary scent. It smells great!

This scent returns almost every year: 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019. It smells like old brown apples that have fallen to the ground at the end of the season, mixed with musty, mossy brown leaves. But unlike most old apple and brown leaves type fall scents, this one has another note that smells a bit like earthy pineapple, with a smidgen of a vinegary note. I don't care for it.

This scent came out in 2019 and 2018. It smells like earthy apple cider mixed with old brown apples that have fallen to the ground at the end of the year, mixed with brown leaves. It sounds bad, but it smells fantastic, like a woodsy, slightly sour, slightly sweet apple scent. The scent notes are obviously incorrect; I think the notes from 2015 (crisp green apple, orchard pear, oakwood and harvest acorn) or 2018 (fresh apples, woodland sage and cedarwood) are the correct ones.

Fantastic rich, buttery scent of super salty caramel, sweet buttery caramel, and rich yummy toffee. Looking at the notes, they're spot on. This scent is super buttery, and it's SO delicious! But the scent started dissipating within 2 hours.

This scent comes back every year, including 2019, 2018 and 2016. It's pumpkin pie, including the buttery, slightly salty pie crust.

This scent has been returning every year: 2019, 2018 and 2017. It's one of my favorite scents ever! A fantastic super creamy coffee scent with a sweet vanilla buttercream note, a hint of caramel, and a smidgen of pumpkin spices. It's definitely a coffee scent rather than a pumpkin scent.
