IllumiScents by Candle Warmers Wax Melts Reviews - March 2023

I'm getting a floral and maybe a hint of light wood, and it's kind of sweet, but also very bitter, like the scent equivalent of a bitter pill. Looking at the notes, there's nothing I see that would produce that level of bitterness. This scent should be a sweet fruity floral based on the notes!

This scent came out in the fall, but I didn't review it at the time. It's a standard, generic apple pie scent. It's sweeter than most, and quite fake, like an apple pie room spray. It's nice and pleasant though. Looking at the notes, yes, I do get a tiny bit of orange, but no lemon, and the cinnamon and clove notes are extremely subtle.

Pineapple, coconut, and a light beach type wood. It's not really a sweet scent, actually maybe even a little citrusy with a smidgen of sourness. I usually don't care for pineapple scents unless they're very sweet, but this scent is unlike other pineapple scents in that the woodsy note and sour notes are stronger than the pineapple, and in this case it really works for the scent. I believe this is the same scent as some scents I smelled years ago that I described the same way: Ashland O'Ahu Sands from Michael's, Hanna's Candle Sand Dollar from the Coastal Woods Trio from 2016 (same as the Mainstays Trio from 2014), and it's also very similar to Goose Creek Candle Tiki Party.

I'm getting orange and a bit of a floral (don't know what kind), as well as a hint of some other fruit I believe, which gives it a teensy bit of a sour note, maybe peach or cantaloupe. It's a nice scent, and not bitter like a lot of champagne type scents tend to be. Looking at the notes, no orange, but sometimes champagne scents tend to have an orange note.

A fantastic sweet, floral, very slightly fruity laundry dryer sheet scent, very similar to Febreze Downy April Fresh and Febreze Downy Unstopables Spring scents (which are dupes of each other). Comparing them side by side, the Febreze scents have a richer, tuberose gardenia type note that I'm not getting (or as much of) in this scent. I adore this scent!

A very nice scent of gardenia, honeysuckle, jasmine, and a hint of orange blossom/neroli. It has a tiny bit of a metallic note, but not enough to ruin the scent. Looking at the notes, I'm not getting any orange or lemon citrusy notes.
