Goose Creek Wax Melts Reviews - Fall and Winter 2023

This is the same as their Chilly Rain Showers scent from March 2022. It's a fresh watery scent with herbal notes, possibly a smidgen of lemon, and maybe also a teensy bit of pine and eucalyptus (but no sinus clearing effects). It's a pleasant, subtle scent where the scent itself is not strong, despite the fairly strong throw. Looking at the notes, I'm not getting any floral notes; in fact, this scent is only slightly sweet. I can't tell if it specifically helps to eliminate odors more than other wax melts or home fragrance products.

A super rich (almost nauseatingly so), creamy scent that smells like eggnog with milky vanilla and nutmeg. It's not what I expected based on the scent name though, but it sure smells yummy!

A very nice sweet, warm, soft, perfumey scent with a hint of chocolate that makes it smell kind of like cocoa butter. It's very nice!

This is the same as their Eucalyptus Raindrops scent from March 2021. It's a nice fresh watery scent with lots of black pepper, as well as eucalyptus (although it doesn't have that nasal-clearing effect), and bergamot that gives it a little bit of a body wash note. It's only a tiny bit sweet. I like it! Looking at the notes, I don't smell jasmine, amber or any perfumey notes, although I think I'm getting a tiny bit of a light woodsy note. I can't tell if it specifically helps to eliminate odors more than other wax melts or home fragrance products.

A super fresh, cool, slightly watery scent with an icy eucalyptus note (along with that sinus-clearing effect) and maybe a teensy bit of lemon. It's not sweet, so it's not a body wash type of scent. It's a nice scent, although I wish it were a little sweeter (but could easily be mixed with a sweet scent). Looking at the notes, they're spot on.

Lovely, relaxing, soft, very sweet, perfumey scent with a strong vanilla note that has almost a smidgen of a nutmeg note way in the background, warmth from cashmere or amber, and maybe a smidgen of some kind of fruit in the background. Fantastic! Looking at the notes, I'm not getting nutmeg, but maybe that's the smidgen of the "eggnoggy" note in the vanilla. It's very similar to Kinda Cozy, but that scent is slightly sweeter and a bit more perfumey, and with less vanilla than this scent. It's also quite similar to Cozy With You, but I get that hint of chocolate in that scent that I don't get in this one, and smidgen of fruit in this scent that I don't get in that one.

A beautiful sweet, relaxing, perfumey scent with warmth from cashmere or amber, a smidgen of vanilla, and possibly a barely detectable smidgen of fruit way in the background. I love these types of scents!

This is both a foodie and outdoorsy scent. I'm getting apple, wood, maybe a hint of blackberry in the background, and just a smidgen of nutmeg perhaps. But it's not at all a typical "fall apples" type scent. It's very sweet, and might actually have a perfumey note.

A super sweet apple scent, like fresh, crisp apples drizzled with sweet vanilla. But it's also not really a foodie scent either. There could be a smidgen of floral way in the background, or maybe even a sweet amber. It's very nice, and different!

A very nice combination of peppermint and soft, milky vanilla, with maybe a smidgen of sandalwood. It's sweet, but what really differentiates it from other similar scents is that it's not nearly as sweet as most peppermint scents, and it's not overly minty.

A nice warm men's cologne scent with a woodsy note. It's more on the soft side, not harsh. And although it's sweet, it's not as sweet as most cologne scents. It might have a smidgen of leather way, way in the background. Looking at the notes, I'm not getting any patchouli or floral notes.

I adore this scent that smells like a strong, rich, fruit scented skin cream. I'm getting blackberry first, maybe a bit of raspberry, possibly a smidgen of strawberry, and I think a teensy bit of floral in the background. It could have a smidgen of citrus as well, or that could be the slight tartness of the blackberry (even though this is a sweet scent, although not perfumey). Looking at the notes, no blackberry, but "red berries" could include raspberry. Fantastic scent!

A crisp pine scent that's both biting and soft, with a fresh note that might have a smidgen of lemon way in the background, a hint of smokiness, and maybe a bit of wood. It's more "aromatic" than most typical pine scents. I really like it!

A nice perfumey scent with a little bit of warmth from cashmere or amber, a hint of vanilla, and a smidgen of pine. It smells a lot like the Kinda Cozy scent, but with that smidgen of pine, and a few other very subtle differences that I can't put my finger on. Looking at the notes, I'm not getting lemon. I like it though.

Wow, this scent is so strong on cold sniff, you could probably just leave the package open in the room and be able to smell it without even melting it! It smells like super strong molasses, raisins, and gingerbread, with just a hint of apple. But it's way, way better than other scents that have those notes. It's very rich and sweet, and smells incredibly delicious!

This is an interesting blend of pine, fruit, maybe a hint of cedar, and possibly a smidgen of citrus like lime or orange. It's a little sweet, and not really "fruity", despite the fruit note. The fruit is kind of artificial, almost like bubble gum, but not in a bad way. It's different, and I kind of like it. It's a little bit like the Lovely Leaves scent, but not quite as sweet, and with the addition of the pine note.

This is the same as their Watermelon Lemonade scent from March 2023. This scent is true to its name; it is indeed watermelon lemonade. It's more lemon than watermelon, maybe 60% / 40%, or even 65% / 35%. Like most watermelon lemonade wax melt scents I've smelled, it has a slight sour note, but it's not enough to detract from the scent. I can't tell if it specifically helps to eliminate odors more than other wax melts or home fragrance products.

A nice warm combination of pine, smoke, and a bit of vanilla that softens the pine (it's not a harsh pine at all). Despite vanilla in the scent name, there's no vanilla in the scent notes. But I think the notes shown on the website are the "main" notes and don't include all the notes in the scent. I do get the eucalyptus note as well, but again, it's not harsh because it's tempered by the softeness of the vanilla. I like it.

This is the same as their old Vanilla Wonderland scent that was loved by so many people! It's peppermint with vanilla, but with maybe a milky sandalwood note and something I can only describe as "musty", but in a good way. It gives this scent a homey feel. It smells a lot like the old ScentSationals Iridescent scent, and it's similar to "Sweater Weather" type scents. Looking at the notes, I'm not getting lemon.
