This is a review of Better Homes and Gardens Fall Wax Melts from Walmart 2015. Banana Bread Pudding is to die for!
Banana Bread Pudding
This smells like sweet vanilla wafer cookies with a sweet creamy banana note, and no spices or bready notes. The banana note is quite authentic too. It's a fantastic scent! But the scent dissipated within an hour.
Candied Caramel Pecan
Sweet pecans blended with freshly ground cinnamon, spicy clove and aromatic nutmeg spun with caramelized brown sugar and sweet undertones of smooth vanilla caramel
This scent has been around for years. It's a cinnamon scent with a nutty note and a hint of caramel. It's a little too cinnamony for me, and kind of a standard type of fall scent.
Spiced Apple Pie Duo
Neither of the scents in this duo come as their own standalone scents. Normally I don't mix both scents of a duo, although they're meant to be mixed together. But in this case, mixing them provides the best scent. The apple pie and clove notes by themselves are kind of bland, but when they're blended, they create a perfect apple pie scent.
Apple Pie
A generic apple pie scent that has a little more of a pie crust note than most apple pie scents. It's sweet but not overly sweet, and with a hint of cinnamon.
Cloves
This is, well, cloves. It's not a super rich or sweet or warm clove scent, but just cloves.
Whipped Pumpkin Cream
I expected a rich creamy pumpkin buttercream scent, but I'm not getting that. There is kind of a slightly creamy pumpkin scent, and although it's a nice scent, it's not as good as I expected.
