Read reviews of AmbiEscents Wax Melts from Bed Bath & Beyond (Spring 2016). Beach Front and Strawberry Macaroon are my favorite scents in this collection.
Beach Front
A delicious mandarin-coconut blend, succulent cactus, beautiful mariposa lily with warm cinnamon and vanilla fragrance
This is a fantastic and pleasant scent. It smells like coconut vanilla perfume (if there were such a thing). The first note I smell is coconut, but it's not a tropical coconut, and there's no pineapple or other fruits in it. Then I smell a slightly floral perfumey note with a barely detectable warm cashmere/amber note. Then there's a creamy yummy vanilla in the background. It smells incredible. It's the same scent as ScentSationals Beachfront. It's also similar to ScentSationals Passion Fruit Coconut from February 2016. They both have a creamy coconut note, but Passion Fruit Coconut is not as sweet and creamy, and the perfume note is way in the background, and it has a very slight tropical note. Although I like both scents, I like the AmbiEscents Beach Front much more.
Cherry Blossom
The romantic garden of Asia with fragrant Japanese Cherry Blossom, juicy pear and warm sandalwood
This is a typical cherry blossom scent, and it's very nice. It's a light floral with just a hint of cherry. It's very weak on cold sniff, so I knew the throw would not be good, as is the case with pretty much every cherry blossom wax melt I've tried, no matter what brand. It's the same scent as ScentSationals Cherry Blossom Festival
Citrus Pineapple
Juicy mouthwatering pineapple, ripe sun kissed strawberries, mingle over sweet milky coconut & white jasmine. Making the perfect array of fruity-florals
This just smells like straight pineapple, although it's not a heavy annoying pineapple. It's light and fresh, but I don't smell any other notes, and nothing citrusy. It's the same scent as ScentSationals Citrus Pineapple.
Green Aloe
This is an authentic aloe scent, but I'm not sure why you'd want your home to smell like aloe. It smells like a bitter cucumber. Cucumber scents are fresh and watery, with a hint of floral. This scent is fresh and watery, but with no sweetness at all, and it has a slight earthy bitter note. I'm not crazy about this scent. It might smell better mixed with something else, like lemon, floral, or a fresh air/watery scent, or to temper the sweetness in overly sweet floral or perfumey scents.
Into the Woods
This smells like a raw "pencil shavings" type of wood with a sweet, warm, perfumey scent in the background. And although there may be just a hint of creamy vanilla (which might actually be sandalwood), it's a totally different scent from ScentSationals Vanilla Woods or Better Homes and Gardens Pure White Woods.
Strawberry Macaroon
A fruity strawberry, sweet orange and red berries with creamy vanilla and coconut macaroon
This smells like strawberry milk with a vanilla bakery note and a barely detectable smidgen of almond. It's a very nice scent, and not overly sweet; in fact, there's a slight sour note, like lemon, in the background. This scent is very similar to ScentSationals Pink Velvet which came out a few months ago, but there are subtle differences, and I believe the main difference is that the fruit in Strawberry Macaroon is strawberry, and the fruit in Pink Velvet is raspberry. The fruit notes in both scents are in the background rather than the forefront. Pink Velvet has more of the almond and sour notes and less sweetness than Strawberry Macaroon, and Strawberry Macaroon is more milky. They're both fantastic scents.
