Read Aldi Wax Melt Reviews from Spring 2016 (Huntington Home brand). Pleasant scents, but the throw was weak for most of the wax melt scents in this Spring lot.
Cotton Blossom
On cold sniff this is just another laundry type scent, and very strong. But when melted it's sweeter than a typical laundry scent, and with a slight floral note. I really like this scent, my favorite out of the 4 scents.
Honeysuckle Vine
This is a typical honeysuckle scent. On cold sniff it smells a little fake, but definitely improves when melted. It's quite strong on cold sniff. It might be the same scent as Hanna's Candle's own Honeysuckle Vine scent.
Lavender Garden
This is the same scent as the lavender side of Michaels Herb Trio melt (Hanna's Candle also makes Michaels wax melts). It smells like rosemary (a savory, eucalyptus type scent, a little like Vicks Vaporub) combined with lavender. It's an herbal, medicinal, savory lavender scent rather than a sweet lavender. On its own I think it's too medicinal and would probably smell better mixed with a floral or vanilla scent. It might be the same scent as Hanna's Candle Lavender and Thyme scent.
Tranquil Ocean Water
This is a standard but pleasant watery fresh air scent. No specific notes stand out. I have a lot of scents like this one.
