This is a review of the Aldi Fall 2020 wax melts (Huntington Home brand): Apple Cider, Chai Latte, Cozy Harvest, and Pumpkin Spiced Whipped Cream. They are sold at Aldi for $1.69 each.
This is a totally different scent from last winter's Apple Cider. That one was more of a straight apple with no (or very little?) cinnamon, and not as sweet. This scent is actually pear, and very sweeter, with a bit of vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. It has a tiny bit of a bakery note, but not like a pie crust or bready note. It's a fantastic scent, but dissipated within 2 or 3 hours.
I smell ginger and cloves first, then subtle cinnamon, and a bit of nutmeg (although it's not pumpkiny). It smells like gingerbread but without a bakery note. I think I do smell a hint of coffee, but it's very subtle. It's a nice scent. Looking at the notes, I don't smell orange or any citrus notes at all.
This is a typical fall apple scent, crisp but just a little sour, with a hint of a woodsy note and fall leaves. I smell a tiny bit of cinnamon but it's very subtle. It smells like apple cider with a little bit of mulling spices, and possibly a smidgen of woodsiness. It's nice and "autumny"! Looking at the notes, I don't detect any eucalyptus, citrus, or musky (perfumey) notes.
Pumpkin Spiced Whipped Cream
Spiced Vanilla, Pumpkin, Sugar, Cream
This smells like pumpkin pie, but with a creamy note. It's a little less nutmeggy and less sweet than other pumpkin pie scents, and I don't detect any cinnamon.
